Manual Mode
When the selector switch is in the on position the robot is in manual mode. When pb1
is pressed air is allowed to the valve causing the gripper to open and stay open
until pb2 is pressed. When pb2 is pressed the air goes to another valve and
closes the gripper and keeps it closed. When pb3 air is allowed to the valve and
causes the cylinder to extend and stay extended, until pb4 is pressed and it
will retract and stay retracted. When pb5 is pressed air will be allowed to the
large cylinder and force it to slide to the left and stay there, until pb6 is
pressed and the cylinder will slide to the right and stay there.
Automatic Mode
The selector switch has to be in the off position for the automatic program to run.
When pb7 is pressed air will be allowed to the valve and will cause the cylinder
to extend, then the gripper to open and stay open for 5 seconds, then then
gripper will close. The air will then switch to another valve and cause the
cylinder to retract. Then the air will transfer to the large cylinder causing it
to slide to the left. Then the cylinder will extend and the gripper will open
and stay open for 5 seconds, then the gripper will close and the cylinder will
retract. Then the large cylinder will slide to the right. This process will
repeat until the stop button is pressed. The stop button is
